Stella Whittaker is an environmental scientist and planner, with more than 30 years of executive management, business development and consulting experience in sustainability, climate change and urban planning. For the past 10 years, she has focused on climate resilience, risk assessment, due diligence and resilience/adaptation planning. Stella has conducted more than 70 climate risk assessments in New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Queensland and Western Australia. She has served as project leader on numerous sustainability and climate risk projects throughout Australia, the US, the UK and Southeast Asia. She has experience in regulation, policy, environmental and sustainability management systems (EMS and SMS) development and implementation, climate risk assessment and adaptation planning, infrastructure sustainability, sustainability assessment and training, greenhouse gas (GHG) assessment and reporting, corporate social responsibility (CSR) reporting, sustainable and Green Star communities, and urban sustainability strategy and implementation for private, government and public-sector clients.
