Ramboll Environ to speak at SAGTA Brexit workshop

Denise Wright (Principal, London Artillery Row) and Samantha Deacon (Manager, Bath) are presenting at a Soil and Groundwater Technology Association (SAGTA) Brexit workshop on 23rd March 2017.

The workshop, entitled Brexit and our Environmental Regimes Going Forward – Industry Perspectives will be held at the National House Building Council (NHBC) HQ in Milton Keynes and features speakers from legal firms, regulatory bodies and consultancies, discussing the cross-sector implications of the UK’s decision to leave the European Union.

Denise and Sam’s presentation, Forward Perspectives – Planning and EIA/Habitats Directive will examine the strengths and weaknesses around retaining, modifying or repealing ecology-based legislation. Members will discuss how they would like to influence potential changes to the law that has protected the natural environment for more than a generation.

SAGTA is a not-for-profit association of member organisations drawn from UK companies representing many major landholding sectors.
